These terms of use regulate the rights and obligations to the use of the website https://www.tripmentor.gr and the TRIPMENTOR application which is uploaded in the Google Play and Apple Store application stores, and which all three are hereinafter referred to as “Tripmentor”.
GEOAPIKONISIS S.A. through the website https://www.tripmentor.gr and the TRIPMENTOR application that is published in the Goolge Play and Apple Store application stores, offers its services under the following terms of use, which visitors/users are invited to read carefully and to visit/ use its pages, applications and services, only if they fully agree. The use implies acceptance of these terms.
Website visitors and registered users of the Tripmentor application will hereinafter be referred to as “users” or “you”.
Tripmentor belongs to GEOAPEIKONISIS SA PROJECTS & GEOINFORMATICS (Registered GEMI No. 121945701000), which from now on for reasons of brevity will be referred to as “Company” or “we/ us”.
Legal Obligations upon acceptance
Acceptance of these terms of use is deemed to have occurred upon entry and navigation of users in Tripmentor. This acceptance consists in their explicit, unconditional and irrevocable agreement to comply with these terms. In case of disagreement with any part of the terms, you may not access Tripmentor.
The Company reserves the right to modify the terms of use at any time and without justification, while the modifications are taken into account only if they are expressed in writing and incorporated in this text. Therefore, users are advised to periodically check the content of these terms. In the event of total or partial invalidity or inability to apply individual terms, the validity of all other terms is not affected. The gap that may be created in the agreement between the Company and the users because of the invalid term will be completed with new or amended terms that will be as similar as possible to the legal purpose of the invalid term. The above applies in any case and for those issues that are not explicitly regulated within the text of the terms of use.
Intellectual and industrial property rights
By this agreement you accept and acknowledge that all Tripmentor content (documents, texts, marks, drawings, images, services, electronic files, etc.) is the intellectual property of the Company from the moment of its publication on the internet, subject to the rights of third parties. Therefore, the content enjoys the protection of the relevant provisions of Greek and European law as well as international conventions. The domain name https://www.tripmentor.gr is legally registered and “Tripmentor” is a legally registered trademark (trademark) and therefore protected by all relevant provisions of Greek and European law. With respect to the intellectual and industrial property rights of third parties (eg affiliate websites, applications, members or companies), their protection is the sole responsibility of the beneficiaries.
It is expressly forbidden to use in whichever way, copy, store, reproduce, republish, transmit, publish, download, translate and modify part or all of the content of Tripmentor and the services offered by it without the prior written permission of the Company. In the event that Tripmentor administrators become aware that a user is systematically exporting, manually or automatically, all or a substantial portion of its database or code, Tripmentor administrators may deactivate their account without notice, reserved to the exercise of any other legal right.
It is exceptionally permited to individually store and copy parts of the content on a simple personal computer for strictly personal use. A necessary condition is the lack of intention for commercial exploitation and the indication of its source of origin. In no case, however, can this be interpreted as an indication of the company’s willingness to grant intellectual property rights.

Tripmentor Limitation of Liability
Tripmentor and the Company can in no way be held responsible for any damage and / or any other negative consequences that may arise from accessing it and / or using the information and services provided therein. All Tripmentor content and services are provided “as is”. No guarantee is provided by the Company that the pages, services, applications, options and contents will be provided without interruption and errors or that these errors will be corrected. In no case are there any guarantees from the Company for the correctness, completeness and availability of the content of the pages, applications and services. Finally, there is no guarantee on the part of the Company that any other linked website, application or servers through which they become available, are provided to you without viruses or other harmful components. Therefore, no claim of financial or other nature can be made for compensation for damage resulting from the above reasons, while the cost is borne in each case exclusively by the user.
Tripmentor may publish information related to the operation of restaurants, entertainment, culture and sports establishments for the sole purpose of informing its users. There is no guarantee from Tripmentor and / or the Company regarding the suitability, completeness, lack of errors or adequacy of these documents.
User’s obligations
With this agreement the user accepts that he/she understands and accepts the international character of the internet and undertakes to abide by the rules of ethical behavior (Netiquette). In cases where Tripmentor allows the user to send through a personal message or upload files, audiovisual material, text, link to another website or generally files readable / executable by a computer or other electronic device, their content is the sole responsibility of the user who submitted / posted them. It is reminded that for every publication / post it is necessary for the user to have the preexisting right to transmit the content either according to the current legislation or based on any legal contractual relationship. In any case, the content of the above mentioned data is prohibited to:
- Be illegal, abusive, vulgar, pornographic, threatening, defamatory, harassing, harmful to minors or expressing ethnic, racial or other discrimination;
- Infringes the copyright or other property rights of third parties, including trademarks and trade secrets and patents;
- Include any virus, harmful software or code, malware, pop-ups and spam that could cause either temporary or permanent damage / malfunction to any equipment (hardware and software), computers and electronic devices in general or delays, interference and interruptions in the operations of servers or any telecommunication network;
- Contain a false statement about the user’s face or imitation of any person (natural or legal).
By submitting material to Tripmentor, the Company acquires a permanent, non-exclusive, irrevocable and free license to reproduce, adapt, distribute and publicly display part or all of it within Tripmentor or on affiliated websites or applications. You agree that you will not receive any compensation for the content you submit to Tripmentor, unless there is a written agreement to the contrary. The intellectual property rights in the material remain with their owner, while Tripmentor may indicate the name and title of the person submitting the material, if he / she has provided them voluntarily.
The Tripmentor user is obliged not to use Tripmentor to carry out acts, which may result in criminal proceedings or the initiation of any civil or administrative proceedings against the Company for acts that indicatively, and not exclusively, are referred to in the Penal Code, specific criminal laws, personal data protection legislation, telecommunications legislation, as well as the relevant legislation of the European Union, the National Telecommunications Commission, the Personal Data Protection Authority and any other Public or Administrative Authority and Service, as well as for acts that could infringe any right or other legal interest of the Company or a third party.
In the event that any third party takes legal action against the Company for infringement of any of its legal property, which falls within the provisions of the terms of use in the field of the user’s obligations, the Company reserves the right to take legal action against this user. Along with any claims of the third party, the Company reserves the right to demand compensation from the user’s for violation of the terms of use and for any legal consequences arising therefrom.
In any case, by accessing and using Tripmentor, you agree that the exceptions and limitations of liability set forth herein are correct and proportionate.
You are aware that Tripmentor reserves the right to modify and/ or temporarily or permanently discontinue part or all of its services with or without notice to users. Therefore, users acknowledge that there is no right to compensation in any way against Tripmentor or its administrators.
Finally, Tripmentor reserves the right to remove, disable or restrict access to the material you submit, if it deems in good faith and reasonably that it violates its terms of use. For any disagreement with such a move on behalf of Tripmentor, you can contact tripmentor@geoapikonisis.gr for further investigation.

With the help of appropriate hyperlinks within Tripmentor, the possibility of access to websites and third party applications is provided. The placement of these links has taken place for the sole purpose of facilitating users during the use of Tripmentor. Each link leads to a different website or application, the browsing of which is subject to the terms of use of the website or application. Tripmentor and/ or the Company assumes absolutely no responsibility for the content and the personal data management policy of the website or application listed with a link. Access to the respective website or application through the use of the provided links takes place at the sole responsibility of the user himself / herself.
Registration Services – Terms
The users of the website https://www.tripmentor.gr have the opportunity to browse it without registering to Tripmentor.
Tripmentor application users are required to register to be able to use it. The respective account that is created is approved for the natural or legal person, according to the data submitted. The accuracy and truth of the data submitted are the sole responsibility of the user, while it is his/her duty to check that their data is correct, as well as to keep it up to date. Registered users must keep their username and password confidential. In the event of unauthorized use, please inform Tripmentor αdministrators immediately. For security reasons, deleting a profile from Tripmentor can not be done directly by users, but by administrators. If you wish to delete your profile, please contact us at tripmentor@geoapikonisis.gr.

Applicable law and other terms
These terms of use, including their amendments, are governed and supplemented, where necessary, by Greek and Community law, as well as by the relevant international treaties, while the courts of the city of Athens are competent.
Tripmentor and the Company have a constant pursuit, any disputes that may arise from its use and/ or the interpretation and application of these terms of use, to be resolved amicably and by an out of court settlement. For this reason, in case as a user you find any legally and/ or ethically problematic element or information in the content of Tripmentor, please immediately inform the administrator of Tripmentor at tripmentor@geoapikonisis.gr .
Tripmentor through its designers and managers takes every possible action towards the development, updating and improvement of its services. All the necessary organizational and security measures are taken and the most appropriate technical mechanisms of content protection are applied, with the aim of providing the safest possible environment for the users, in accordance with the respective legal provisions. However, it is always possible for errors/ malfunctions/ interruptions in the contents of Tripmentor and/ or viruses or other malware to appear either on the website, or in the application or on their servers.
